Artichoke Art Studio is hosting a Summer Day Camp for students ages 6-15! Join us in our creative space for an individualized blended art program for every artist. Expect lots of art and fun as we explore a new theme every week! Weather permitting, we will have both outdoor and indoor art workshops where we dive into discussions and work on our projects. The day camp runs from June 23rd to August 1st, 2025 in one-week sessions.

HOURS
Camp (Sessions 1 - 6) :
9 am - 1 pm, Monday through Friday
After Camp Care (Sessions 1 - 6) :
1 - 3 PM (available if >3 campers are interested)
TUITION
Sessions 1 - 6: $350/week, with a $100 deposit due at registration.

Professional materials are included in tuition.
​
Session 2 tuition is reduced to $280 due to the observance of the 4th of July holiday.​

After Camp Care: $100 (available if >3 campers are interested)
FOOD
Campers must bring a packed lunch and a reusable water bottle. A snack will be provided. A refrigerator and microwave are available for storing and warming up food.
SAFETY
The kids are cared for and supervised by an experienced teacher with a current certificate in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED.

SESSION 1: THE WORLD OF HAYAO MIYAZAKI
Dive into the enchanting world of Hayao Miyazaki! Campers will explore anime masterpieces and craft their own art in Miyazaki's unique style. By the end of the week, they will take home portfolios filled with single-day and multi-day projects.

SESSION 2: ANIMAL KINGDOM
Embark on a journey with the best animal painters! Kids will create their own artworks inspired by various animal styles and techniques.By the end of the week, they will take home portfolios filled with single-day and multi-day projects.
*Note: this session is Monday - Thursday in observance of July 4th.

SESSION 3: WORLD FAMOUS ARTISTS
Create your own mini art gallery influenced by 5 world-famous artists: Vasilii Kandinsky, Vincent van Gogh, Frida Kahlo, Claude Monet, and Kazimir Malevich! We will explore each of their unique styles as we learn about art history. By the end of the week, campers will take home portfolios filled with single-day and multi-day projects.

SESSION 4: STAR WARS GALAXY
Join us for an extraordinary adventure in a galaxy far, far away where creativity and imagination collide! By the end of the week, campers will take home portfolios filled with single-day and multi-day projects.
SESSION 5: ERIC CARLE
Join as as we learn about Eric Carle, the beloved author of The Very Hungry Caterpiller, and other treasured stories! We will create like Carle, studying his colorful collage style and storytelling. By the end of the week, they will take home portfolios filled with single-day and multi-day projects.

SESSION 6: ART ZINES AND MORE
Discover the world of zines, moodboards, and collages! A zine, pronounced “zeen” (just like the end of the word magazine), is a homemade publication. Let's make your own fanzines, a zine about something or someone you love! We will also craft moodboards and collages. By the end of the week, students will be able to take home their final art zine project, mood boards, and collages.

SESSION 7: WELLNESS AND CREATIVITY
Put on your aprons and get ready for flavor, fun, and creativity! Kids will craft delicious, kid-friendly recipes, design vibrant art projects, and dive into the world of healthy living. This camp is led by Marina Korobova, our art instructor, and Katerina Galustyan, a professional health coach. By the end of the week, students will be able to take home their final recipe book!
