LITTLE ARTIST AND ME
Limited Seats
45 minute classes for ages 2 - 5
$275 per session (11 classes)
Led by Guest Art Teacher: Katya Furtseva
These are “caregiver and me” style classes, designed for all parents, guardians, family members, nannies, and any other adults caring for a little artist. Our comfortable, small groups accommodate 3 - 5 children.
We seamlessly blend early childhood education, children's literature, and creativity, tailored to the specific age characteristics of children. We pay special attention to their cognitive development, speech, fine and gross motor skills, fostering their unique concepts and teaching abilities, and, of course, exploring the world of art!
Students will have the opportunity to:
- Explore various art styles and materials
- Discover outstanding children's books, authors, and illustrators
- Create age-appropriate art with the guidance of a teacher
- Learn through play and artistic expression
- Enjoy a delightful time with a small group of newfound friends

YOUNG ARTISTS
45 minute classes for ages 2-6
$275 per session (11 classes)
Our Young Artists Program introduces students to the foundational elements of art including line, shape, form, texture, and color.
We work with paint, watercolors, collages, clay, and pastels. Through this program, students will be able to express their creativity and develop their artistic skills. Projects are structured and teacher-directed. One small snack is given after class!
YOUNG ARTISTS CLASS SCHEDULE
If you are unsure if your child should be in the Young Artists Program or the Studio Art Program, please contact ksenyalitvak@gmail.com.
After evaluating and working with your artist, we can move them to the best-fitting program based on their level and ability to be actively focused and engaged for long periods of time (45-minute or 2-hour classes).
STUDIO ART
2 hour classes for ages 7 - 103
$550 per session (11 classes)
Our Studio Art Program is designed to give students the opportunity to develop and express their ideas clearly through various art materials. The process of self-expression is a pleasure and a challenge that requires a willingness to be personally involved with each project. Instruction is individualized for each student based on their project, needs, and level. Students use a wide variety of materials, art techniques, styles, and approaches, including drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and ceramics.
As the students become increasingly familiar with the qualities and limitations of different art materials and techniques, they start to “think through the materials” and are better able to visually express their ideas with eloquence and complexity. We believe artists need to fuel their creative energy: one snack is provided per class!
STUDIO ART CLASS SCHEDULE
Ceramics
Students will be introduced to
wheel throwing and handbuilding work.
Students of all ages engage in learning the techniques of ceramics in order to express their imaginations and create functional or decorative ceramic pieces.
The ceramics room, fondly known as the Hairy Potter room, features a pottery wheel and a kiln, as well as an area for hand-building and glaze work.
